Bison is a tech hardware company that develops, manufactures and sells agile systems for handling shipping containers - all from Dunedin.
Bison products integrate mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and software technologies. Currently, the majority of Bison’s business comes from container lift solutions. These are portable, high-capacity container lifting jacks and hoists, that transfer heavy shipping containers between the ground and truck trailers.
Bison also manufactures a unique line of container weighing solutions. These are the world’s only portable, certified container scales, enabling container weights to be verified and digitized in any location.
I currently work here as their Marketing Coordinator. Independently leading all aspects of in-house marketing, graphic design, photography, and videography within the business. Focus on B2B marketing, graphic design, content creation, copywriting, and digital work such as advertising, maintaining the website via CMS, and reporting. I am also a member of the social committee and a fire warden.

As I'm a part of the social committee, I plan events for the workplace and then create internal graphics for awareness and/or meetings as seen above.

Another part of my role at Bison is creating customer stories. I work closely with our international customers, interviewing them and then writing up their success stories and turning them into PDFs that align with our brand. I also turn this content into blogs for our website and social posts.
